Day Four

I am beginning my second week with my "Maximum Pilates" workout dvd. My goal for this week was to come out victorious in an all-out smack-down with my knees, who make a point of whining about each and every little thing I ask of them.

Perhaps victorious was a little ambitious.

After about fifteen minutes I was shaking like a chihuahua at the north pole. But those knees of mine were put through the work out of their lives!

My specific knee-jerking (like the pun?) goal for tomorrow... Work on my "scissor kicks" form. See descriptive diagram.

Hahahaha! It might look like that for a while. But don't worry, the core work is the important part. As long as your lower back is flat to the floor, you are doing great!
