Day Twenty-three

In honor of Halloween I spent yesterday morning having copious amounts of my vital blood supply drained from my broken, tired body. So I missed my work out.

I have now recovered and returned to the world of Pilatification. Today's workout was tough. I haven't been feeling well lately. Little cold. Little stomach thing. Little energy. Even less sleep. But I did it. I have found over the last three months-ish that doing Pilates when I'm sick, even if my efforts are less enthusiastic than on better days, helps me feel better. It relieves tension, it gets my mind off stuff for a while and it keeps me from completely dying from the minor sniffs and sneezes that seem to afflict us all this time of year.

Now, on to better news. Tuesdays are my weigh-in day here at the ol' Pilatification Hut. I was just telling my superhero trainer, Ashleigh, that I hadn't lost any more weight or inches. Guess what? Liar. Right here. Big ol' untruthful, deceptive liar. Got on the scale this morning. Down one pound!

I love Pilates!
