Do you remember that feeling back in school the night before a big exam? You know the one, where you're convinced that you'll never remember anything you've learned, that you forgot to study something that will be on the test. Also the one where you feel just a little nauseous and your head kind of hurts and you're more tense than is probably healthy. (Wow. That was an insight into my academic career, wasn't it?)
Feeling that way. A little.
Tomorrow I am headed into the studio to demonstrate for my ever-helpful Pilates instructor, Ashleigh, all that I have learned during my 5 weeks as an at-home Pilatificator. Kinda nervous.
I am fully expecting to go in and have her watch me do a few of the exercises (Saw comes to mind and that, alone, makes the nausea more pronounced - did I mention I don't care for that one??), and then with that look of empathetic amusement tell me that I am doing them all wrong. Or she'll ever-so tactfully ask me if I have really been doing the exercises because she can see that I am still a flabby weakling.
Okay. Perhaps I am being a little dramatic. It helps me not feel stupid.
By the time I blog tomorrow, the exam... er, I mean, check-in, will be complete and I can report on my progress from a professional stand point.
Wish me luck!!
