Day Two

Discoveries on my second day of self-inflicted torture...

Drinking water while lying down doing Pilates can be refreshingly disastrous.

When holding a stretch, I can count really fast.

It is monumentally difficult to watch a workout DVD while lying face down. Still working on that.

Having a Pilates mat makes my backside much happier during my workout. And a happy backside is key to so many things in life.

I have developed a mantra during my workout: Lengthen the spine, relax the shoulders, happy backside. It works.
